Frequently Asked Questions

  • Can my child do a trial class?
Of course! Your child can come along and try out a class first. If they love it and choose to continue, the trial is class included in the term fees. If not, there is no charge for the class.
  • My child is shy - would these classes suit them?
Absolutely. Many parents enrol their children in drama to build up their confidence and are amazed to see what they have achieved by the end of the term. A lot of time and effort is put into making the classes safe, supportive and inclusive.
  • Do I need to re-enrol each term?
An email will be sent out towards the end of each term to check if you are rolling over to the next term. You are also welcome to book for the whole year, there are often special discounts available for this.
  • Do you offer sibling discounts?
Yes! Siblings receive a 10% discount.
  • Do you accept Creative Kids vouchers?
Sure do! Drama Tree is a registered Creative Kids Provider.
  • Can parents/guardians watch the class?
You are welcome to watch the first class, however it is not encouraged on a regular basis, as it distracts and inhibits some children to perform and collaborate freely.
  • What happens if I am late to pick up my child?
Please try to pick up your child on time, as classes are back-to-back and we cannot guarantee adequate supervision.
  • Can we enrol once term has started?
Sure, mid-term enrolments are accepted – just email sheli@drama tree.com.au and you will be invoiced pro-rata.
  • Do you have performance opportunities?
Absolutely! Students begin by regularly performing for their peers in class, to build up confidence and learn performance skills. We also hold Celebrations of Learning twice a year, which may be a demonstration of skills, a mini-performance, an interactive lesson, a play, a film or a showcase.
  • What is Drama Tree's COVID policy?
Drama Tree is committed to maintaining the highest level of health safety for all students. We uphold NSW government guidelines regarding hygiene, limits of numbers and other restrictions. Students are requested to not attend lessons if feeling unwell or displaying any symptoms of illness.
